Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce

 


Ingredients:

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, finely minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon kosher salt

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

Melt & Sauté Garlic

Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium‑low heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Time: 2 minutes

Bloom the Spices

Sprinkle in the smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, cayenne, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Whisk constantly until the mixture turns a vibrant orange and the spices are fully incorporated.

Time: 1 minute

Finish & Brighten

Remove from heat, stir in the lemon juice, and taste—adding a pinch more cayenne or paprika if desired.

Time: 1 minute

Serve & Garnish

Pour into a serving bowl or drizzle directly over seafood, pasta, or vegetables. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving, if using.
